Eletanco
is a limited liability private company, registered and operating under
the laws and regulations of the
Republic of Cyprus.
It was originally founded in 1973 as a partnership and in
February 1977 it has been registered as a limited liability private
company.
The company was founded by Mr. Emilios Leonida, one of the few
qualified refrigeration & air-conditioning engineers at that time,
associated member of ASHRAE, who had previously served for 15 years
as a design and sales engineer in a refrigeration wholesale and
contracting company.
The ambition of Mr. Leonida for this new company was clearly set
to make Eletanco soon to be the first refrigeration wholesale company
in the island. Being a small family-owned company, the first employees
were actually members of the Leonida family, and their efforts
contributed towards the tremendous growth of the company's turnover
year by year. Soon, a branch office was to be opened in Limassol and
this was followed by distributorship agreements in other towns, thus
creating a powerfull sales network covering the entire island.
Today, Mr. Emilios Leonida is still active in our business and
offers his services in his capacity as a director of the company. His
accumulated vast experience of 40 years in the field of refrigeration,
constitute the number one strength of our company and the most
important competitive advantage.
